ENCRYPTO members presented at and co-organized Decrypting Diversity Summit 2025

Nora Khayata, Andreas Brüggemann, and Olta Bytyci attended the Decrypting Diversity Summit 2025 in Montpellier France.

Nora Khayata was one of the Steering Team members and moderated two panels. The first panel was about “Advocating for Diversity”, where different sub-communities discussed about their efforts and challenges. The second panel was titled “Breaking the Cycle”, where the discussion was about naming different challenges “growing up” as an academic and how we can tackle them moving forward.

Furthermore, Nora Khayata and Olta Bytyci presented their poster on “Non-Interactive Zero-Knowledge Proofs for Attesting Distributional Properties of Machine Learning Models” (opens in new tab).

Andreas Brüggemann presented their poster on “The German Self-Determination Act—Ignoring Cryptography and Endangering Trans* People.” (opens in new tab)
