Private AI Collaborative Research Institute

For our project proposal “Engineering Private AI Systems (EPAI)”, the ENCRYPTO Group was awarded to participate in the new Private AI Collaborative Research Institute, which is formed and funded by Intel, Avast, and Borsetta. The center aims at advancing technologies for privacy and trust in decentralized AI. Additional information can be found in Intel's blog post.

The technologies ENCRYPTO will work on – privacy-enhancing computing and AI engineering – have been identified to be among the top strategic technologies identified by Gartner, Inc.

This continues ENCRYPTO’s successful research collaborations with the Privacy and Security Research team of Intel AI (San Diego, CA, USA), headed by Rosario Cammarota.
